Language: This Flower Hour will be held in English. All nationalities, genders, identities and experience levels are warmly welcome.

Come for the flowers. Meet your people.

Flower Hour brings people together around a table of flowers.

Come on your own or with a friend, meet other flower lovers in Tokyo, and spend an hour arranging, experimenting, chatting and creating together.

There is no demonstration, no formal teaching and no experience required.

You might be completely new to flowers, already studying ikebana or floristry, or an experienced arranger looking for time and space to practise your skills and explore your own ideas.

Flower Hour is simply an hour to create with flowers, without pressure, alongside other people doing the same.

Both tickets include:

• Flower Hour participation from 12:00–13:00
• Flower Package - a seasonal selection of flowers prepared for you by Stayflower
• Use of shared tools during Flower Hour

Your flowers will be ready for you when you arrive.

Once you purchase your ticket, your place is confirmed. Simply come to Stayflower on Friday, 28 August, ready for the 12:00 start.

WHAT TO BRING

You don't need to bring anything - your flowers and everything you need to arrange will be ready for you.

Vases will be available to use during Flower Hour. At the end of the session, you can remove your flowers and wrap them to take home.

If you prefer, you're welcome to bring your own vase and arrange directly into it. However, you may find it easier to take your flowers home wrapped, particularly if you're travelling by public transport.

If you have a reusable flower bag, you're also welcome to bring it with you.

WHAT HAPPENS AT FLOWER HOUR?

12:00 - Flower Hour begins

Meet the other guests, settle in with your flowers and start creating.

There is no arrangement to copy and no right or wrong result. Use the hour however you like - experiment with an idea, practise something you've learned, try something completely new, or simply enjoy arranging.

Chat, share ideas and get to know the other people around the table as you work.

12:50 - Share

We'll come together to enjoy what everyone has made and take photos if you'd like.

There is no critique or judging - just a chance to see what everyone created during the hour.

13:00 - Finish

Take your flowers home and hopefully leave with some new ideas and connections too.

Flower Hour finishes promptly at 13:00.

COME ON YOUR OWN

You absolutely don't need to bring someone with you.

Flower Hour is designed to make meeting people easy. Having flowers in front of us gives everyone something to do, talk about and enjoy together.

Whether you're new to Tokyo, looking to meet more creative people, want to connect with other flower lovers, or simply enjoy creating alongside others, you're welcome at the table.

FLOWER HOUR IS NOT A FLOWER CLASS

Flower Hour is time to practice, experiment and create without pressure.

There is no lesson to follow, arrangement to copy or technique you are expected to master.

You might be arranging flowers for the first time. You might be an experienced florist or ikebana student wanting time to practise skills you've learned elsewhere. You might have an idea you've been wanting to try, experiment with a new material, or simply want the freedom to make something without worrying whether it's technically "correct."

There is no critique, correction or expectation of a particular result.

Bring your curiosity, use the hour however you want, and enjoy creating alongside other people doing the same.
