About this event
Wander through late sakura and spring botanicals together; if you have time afterwards, bring a bento and stay for a relaxed picnic.
Frequently asked questions
- What should I bring?
- Comfortable walking shoes, water, your phone/camera, weather-appropriate clothing, and cash/card for the Shinjuku Gyoen entrance fee. If you’d like to stay for the optional picnic afterwards, bring your own bento or lunch.
- Do I need to be a professional photographer?
- Not at all. This is a relaxed social Flower Club walk, not a photography workshop. Come to enjoy the garden, notice the season and meet other flower lovers.
- Do I need a good camera?
- No. This is a social nature walk rather than a photography class. We’ll wander, chat, look at seasonal flowers and share what catches our attention.
- Can I come by myself?
- Absolutely. The whole point is to meet other people who love flowers and nature, so coming alone is completely normal.
- What happens after the walk?
- The organised walk finishes after two hours. If you have time, bring a bento and stay afterwards for an informal picnic together.
- Can I bring a friend?
- This is a members-only Flower Club event, so everyone attending needs to be an active Flower Club member. If your friend would like to join you, they’re very welcome to become a member and RSVP separately.
