About this event
Join fellow Flower Club members for a relaxed hour of ikebana arranging, creative exchange and friendly feedback.
This month's theme: Shōgatsu — New Year Arrangements.
Prepare for the Japanese New Year with an auspicious, celebratory composition inspired by pine, bamboo and plum. You are welcome to substitute locally available evergreens, branches and flowers.
What to bring: Bring evergreen branches or other seasonal foliage, flowers, a favourite vase and your usual arranging tools.
We'll introduce the theme, create our own arrangements together and share our results. All ikebana schools, styles and experience levels are welcome. The monthly theme is optional; you can arrange with materials available in your part of the world, and no Japanese seasonal flowers are required.
This is a community meetup, not a formal instructor-led class. Special guest demonstrations and workshops will be scheduled separately.
Online · 60 minutes · Included with Flower Club membership. Join details are available to members after booking.
