Ikebana Club — Tanabata — Bamboo & Wishes (Online Meetup)

Join fellow Flower Club members for a relaxed hour of ikebana arranging, creative exchange and friendly feedback.

This month's theme: Tanabata — Bamboo & Wishes.
Prepare for Tanabata, the Star Festival on 7 July, with a composition exploring vertical lines, open space, graceful movement and the idea of wishes. Bamboo is optional; local grasses or branches work well.

What to bring: Bring bamboo if available, or locally available branches or grasses, flowers, a vessel and your usual tools.

We'll introduce the theme, create our own arrangements together and share our results. All ikebana schools, styles and experience levels are welcome. The monthly theme is optional; you can arrange with materials available in your part of the world, and no Japanese seasonal flowers are required.

This is a community meetup, not a formal instructor-led class. Special guest demonstrations and workshops will be scheduled separately.
