About this event

FLORISTRY CLUB · 2027 PORTFOLIO PROGRAMME

Build a beautiful, practical floristry portfolio one project at a time. This month's project is Hand-Tied Bridal Bouquet. The same project is offered in two different time slots each month so members can attend the one that suits them.

TECHNIQUE: Learn and practise bridal bouquet structure, controlled shape, stem handling and ribbon finishing.
PORTFOLIO PIECE: Finish a hand-tied wedding bouquet.

YOUR PROJECT: Create a small bridal bouquet with a clearly shaped silhouette and finished handle.

WHAT TO BRING: 12–18 suitable flowers and foliage stems, floral snips, binding string, ribbon and a vase of water.

SESSION PLAN · 60 MINUTES
10 minutes: introduce the portfolio brief and demonstrate the essential technique.

40 minutes: make your design with guided practical exercises and questions.

10 minutes: finishing, feedback and how to photograph the piece for your portfolio.

PORTFOLIO CHECKLIST: Take a clean front photograph, a detail photograph showing the technique, and record your flower/material recipe and the skill practised. Add your finished photographs to your personal portfolio.

Prepare and condition materials before the session. For larger designs, work on a small-scale version suitable for finishing in one hour. Members supply their own flowers and tools. A session instructor will be announced separately; no specific guest is confirmed.

Thursday 10:00–11:00 AM Japan time · Online · Included with Flower Club membership. Joining link available to confirmed members after booking.
