Hosting Guidelines

We encourage people around the world to host their own Ikebana Club, Floristry Club, Botanical Book Club, Flower Biz Club and Nature Club gatherings.

Suitable events include ikebana classes, floristry workshops, Flower Hours, botanical book discussions, garden visits, farm and flower-picking days, nature walks, talks with growers or artists, flower-business discussions, demonstrations, studio visits and other activities genuinely connected to flowers, plants or nature.

Independent teachers, florists, growers, artists, businesses, gardens, farms and community members can also list their own events. An event does not need to be an official Flower Club International event.

Flower Club International is not a general events marketplace. Events need a genuine connection to flowers, plants, gardens, nature or the wider culture and business around them.

We may remove an event if it is unrelated to these areas, misleading about what will happen, primarily spam or a sales listing without a genuine event attached, illegal or unsafe, discriminatory or harassing, infringes another person’s rights, or otherwise puts participants or the Flower Club International community at risk.

Describe your event accurately, including who is hosting it, what participants will do, where it takes place, what it costs and anything attendees need to bring or know beforehand.

Hosts are responsible for running their events safely and lawfully, including obtaining any permissions, licences or insurance required where they live.

Flower Club International may remove an event or restrict a host account when an event falls outside these guidelines or where there is a pattern of behaviour that makes the platform less safe or useful for the community.
