Are you passionate about Ikebana? We are a group of ikebana lovers around the world, a mix of students, teachers and enthusiasts. Join us from wherever you are in the world to practice Ikebana and make new connections.
The event is free for Flower Club Int members, and members guests or non-members can attend for a fee. The spaces are limited, so please RSVP. Members will have first priority to attend.

Location: Zoom – you will receive an email with the zoom link in advance.
Theme:
This class will be run by Julia Rush with the theme “Ikebana as a gift”. We will create arrangements that can be created as a gift to a friend or colleague etc. We encourage you to come to this session with an idea of someone you would like to prepare the arrangement as a gift for, and the materials to complete this.
Consider:
- The materials. Do they have a favourite flower? What’s their birth flower? What’s the famous flower of their hometown?
- The vase. Let’s do this arrangement with no kenzan, so either a freestyle or Nageire vase.
- Card. Prepare a sketch of your arrangement as the card along with haiku.
- Wrapping. Will you add additional wrapping / ribbons etc? Consider transportation.
