Louise Worner began studying Sogetsu ikebana in 1998 while living in Japan, under the mentorship of Yoka Hosono-sensei, a Master Instructor at Sogetsu Headquarters. In 2000, she was awarded her Sogetsu Ikebana Teacher’s Certificate by the former Iemoto of the Sogetsu School, Hiroshi Teshigahara.
Since then, Louise has become a globally respected ikebana artist and educator, presenting workshops and demonstrations in cities such as London, New York, Paris, Geneva, Canberra, and Madrid. She is the founding Chairperson of the Sogetsu Study Group Madrid and served as a 2022 and 2023 Committee Member for the International Ikebana Gallery Award.
