MEET THE MENTOR
Kelly Ekardt is a floral artist and former fashion stylist with two decades of experience producing and directing photoshoots across editorial and commercial projects. Her eye for composition and mood brings a unique perspective to floral storytelling — and she’ll be sharing exactly what she’s learned through her career behind and in front of the lens.
After 20 years in the fashion industry as a designer and stylist, Kelly decided to embark on a new creative journey. She longed to reconnect with her hands and the tactile process of creation. It was during a photoshoot that blended fashion and florals that she discovered her true passion for flowers. This moment of inspiration led Kelly to study floral design at the Berlin Flower School, where she honed her skills in weddings, events, funerals, installations, and floral art expression.
Kelly’s work focuses on bringing an unexpected twist to the world of florals. Whether it’s through immersive installations, event design, window displays, or floral arrangements for photoshoots, weddings, or tablescapes, her aim is to evoke emotion and surprise. She loves working with undervalued blooms and foliage, transforming them into pieces that engage and excite the senses.
Specializing in floral art installations, custom arrangements, window and table design, as well as floral styling for events, stores, and photoshoots, Kelly strives to create experiences that leave a lasting impression.
