December Meeting – Luxembourg
Date: Sunday 1st December
Time: 10AM – 12PM
Location: Kapenaker Rooms & Blooms, 1a Rue de Beyren, 5432 Kapenacker Wormeldange
This month we will be reading “The Hidden Histories of Flowers: Fascinating Stories of Flora” by Maddie and Alice Bailey.
From the symbolism and meaning behind flowers and how these have evolved over time, to how humans interact with flowers based on cultural and geographical differences, to how flowers have been coveted for their medicinal aspects as well as for their visual merits, The Hidden Histories of Flowers showcases fascinating details of flowers and our relationship with them.
While we encourage you to read the book in advance, if you aren’t able to, don’t worry! You can take a look through the book during the event.
Hands On Session:
Along with some discussion questions, we also invite you to create a drawing of a flower which resonated with you from the book.
Tea, coffee, and drawing material will be provided free of charge.
Book Swap:
Members are welcome to bring their own botanical books to trade or exchange with fellow enthusiasts during the meeting.
