A family-run flower farm located in Kapenaker, Wormeldange, Luxembourg, specializing in growing slow flowers.
Here you can buy local flowers – for florists, retailers, events & special occasions. Visits by appointment only.
Head 20 minutes east from Luxembourg city towards Trier, and find yourself in Kapenaker – a tiny village with less than a dozen houses. A picture perfect place, with open skies and rolling hills. The ideal place for a flower farm.
The focus here is on slow flowers – which similarly to the slow food movement encourages people to shop local, support their economy and consciously purchase flowers which are seasonal and ethically grown. You won’t find plastic, flower foam or pesticides on this eco-friendly farm, but you will see plenty of bees and butterflies.
Stefanie, the owner of Kapenaker Rooms & Blooms, is creating a dream venue at the farm where people will be able to rent rooms to stay at the farm overnight, or attend floral related workshops with freshly picked blooms. The venue will be open for reservations from 2024.
For now, the flowers are available to purchase for events and special occasions by order and will be cut freshly for each individual customer. During the months of May & June 2023 you can also attend Stefanie’s workshop’ to learn how to arrange your own bouquets using seasonal flowers at the Luxembourg Flower Club Pop Up.
