How To: Ikebana Sketch & Arrange

Let’s practice ikebana together in this online workshop co-hosted with experienced Sogetsu Ikebana teachers Sandy Marker and Julia Rush.

In this session we will make freestyle ikebana arrangements, and begin by first sketching them. In this workshop we will first have a short introduction to the theme followed by time for you to create your own arrangement. You will first sketch the arrangement that you would like to create, and then create your arrangement based on the sketch.
